Genetics Consolidated B.V., owned by Jan de Vries, signs a Letter of Intent to team up with Thijs Hendrix and Antoon van den Berg, via their respective investment companies, to further develop into a global leading bovine genetics company. Genetics Consolidated B.V., operating under the brand names Diamond Genetics, AMS Genetics, A.I. Total, Eurogenes, and Freyr K.I. Services was founded 25 years ago by entrepreneur Jan de Vries. The company has developed into an agile, mid‑sized, and globally on 5 continents active enterprise with proprietary genetics programs in bovine genetics and had a role in developing various breed leading lines. The transaltantic company’s headquarters and main facilities are in Wijhe, the Netherlands and Hudson, WI, USA.

Under the intended partnership structure, Thijs and Antoon will further capitalize the company to obtain a 50/50 ownership position alongside Jan, who next to his shareholder role, will continue as Managing Director, with the current management team unchanged. The company aims to further accelerate its investments in R&D and sales to support organic growth, complemented by suitable consolidation opportunities in the bovine genetics’ domain leveraging the extensive networks and complementary expertise of the new investors.
The proposed transaction remains subject to customary approvals and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2026.
