October 16, 2013 One of the first One Million Dollar Cows, Lylehaven Lila Z EX-94-CAN recently passed away.  She is the foundation behind plenty of successful show- and index cows and popular bulls. The mating with Goldwyn turned out to be the golden cross, resulting in great cows like Comestar Goldwyn Lilac, Lava, Layla and Acecroft Lila Z. From which Layla scored EX-95 and won big shows, Lila Z is the dam to Larson, Lava to Lavaman and Lilac to Lexor, Latimer and grand dam to Liquid Gold. Lylehaven Lila Z her legacy continues all around the world, in France through a beautiful Sid-daughter ILY Lisa Z. She was sold as an embryo to Holstein ILY Pasquet in France. Her dam, Hood Baxter Lucia VG-88 was born in Denmark, sold to England and is straight from the one and only Comestar Goldwyn Lilac VG-89-CAN 4yr. October 15, 2013 Butz-Butler Gold Barbara EX-92-USA is one of the absolute show cracks in North-American at this moment and was Intermediate Champion at the World Dairy Expo 2013. Vekis Genetics has a tremendous milking dtr out of Barbara's sister, Anderstrup Freddie Barb. She was purchased through the Eurogenes Online Heifer Sale. Sire Freddie is the current #3 proven sire in the USA with over 2600 dtrs in his index and is not available in Europe.
